Well done. This is an impressive angle.
Have you ever heard of working with leading lines though?

I really like this stark rendition of the Brooklyn Bridge. It shows a lot of texture, though it is a bit washed out at the top but no biggie. Was there a bit of dodging and burning involved?

Love the POV that you took on this and it works very well in BW

Thanks for the comments everyone.
No D&B on this one either, Pio. Although, you are right, the top is a bit washed and could use a little touchup. I'll tweak it. Thanks.

Like it a lot.
How did you get rid of all the people ? ? ?

I told them all I just bought the bridge from some guy on 42nd street for $100 and they had to leave. ;)
Actually, I got very lucky. It was midweek, mid morning and I waited until there was no one for literally about 3 seconds and snapped it.

I don't think you need to tweak it Bryan - it actually shows how harsh the sunlight was that day.

I think it's a great image as is. Super good luck finding it empty. I would imagine in a big place like NY, it might even be eerie to see such a busy bridge empty.

Classic image of a classic beauty. Great job on the b&w conversion.
