Was at Silverstone with the Monoposto Racing Club. Was granted press access for this event, my first time, so it was a bit daunting.

My interests were really just two quali sessions and two race sessions.

Qualifying 1)
At the end of the back straight, before entering the Luffield complex.

Qualifying 2)
Outside of Luffield
slowish shutter speed

Race 1)
Copse for the start...

(My 1.4TC refused to play ball which was a bit limiting!)

Race 2)
Was hoping to get down to Maggots/Becketts but the Marshalls said that because the National and Southern Circuits were being used at the same time I couldn't so went back to outside the BARC building, but moved during the session to the bank before one of the bridges on the back straight.

Rain was threatened but never came. Thanks for looking. Marshalls friendly.
This was also the first event I'd used the AF-on button to seperate focussing from metering. Took a bit of getting used to...

My brother qualified in 5th, got a good start and held onto 3rd (1st in class) despite suffering from a nervous and twitchy car prone to oversteer (understeer in quali but probably adjusted wings a bit too much)

Nice shots. some could do with a bit slower shutter speed

I Thought the shutter speeds look pretty good for action and sharpness.
Would have done for me .:)
Fair dinkum .
