$10 60" tripod with free shipping:

I'd post this in the "Accessories & Storage" forum, but that's for serious discussions about real gear. :D Here, people can make fun of me and my uber-cheap tripod.

Just remember people, you get what you pay for. Oh, and I did the 7-9 day shipping. I think they're going to walk it here.

FYI: I got one for my 12-year-old. She wants to do some self portraits. I just hope she hasn't seen Sissi's work ;)

I wonder what the weight rating is on this thing. I'm betting the 5D with grip, flash-bracket, 580 flash, LumiQuest bounce diffuser, 70-200 IS with 2X extender is going to be a bit much.

I'll make the first joke (no, not the one where you laugh at me for actually buying it):

It's a KraftTech. I bet it's cheesy.

(I didn't say it'd be a GOOD joke)

I forgot. I like to dangle my remote cord off the camera for timed shots.

LOL <=== Really. Out loud.

I'm hoping her digital P&S will do okay.

Hey...for 10 bucks...if it will support a P&S or an off-camera flash...what the heck?
