Three car motor vehicle accident last night in Wrentham, MA while pouring rain. One car rolled onto it's roof trapping one. The Jaws of Life went to work and a total of 4 people were taken to area hospitals.

Ya, I'm sure they will think of the bunker pants once one of them gets a peice of metal/glass in thier knee.

But the one guy has a towel under his knee. And the other guy is holding the car up by the tire.

It's so easy to get lazy. Usually take someone getting hurt to remind everyone.

So true, my dad went off on some of his fellow firemen on a brush fire the other day, some guys had thier bunker pants and boots on but a tshirt for upper body protection, some guys had thier coat on but not bunker pants or a helmet. I mean its a grass fire but I've seen several times where the helmet, coat, gloves, pants, etc is really nice when the wind changes and sends the fire/smoke/ash back after you.

The guy holding the tire is with the tow company. He's just watching.

Mark I'm not sure what part of the country you live in but here in Mass. brush fires stay on the ground. So firefighters here in brush season don't wear any PPE. There really is no reason to. Here is a picture from a fire last week. This guy works for the State Dept. of Forestry.

great action shots. With the crappy lighting and weather you had to work with they turned out good. Id add to the bad things in the picture but i could go on for a day or two. Surly as Officer on duty I see multiple safety issues that would get a write up. maybe ill PM you, i have one i'd like to ask about.
