This is the eastbound Empire Builder about 5 miles NW of Columbus, WI, running about 15 minutes late. Not bad for being close to 2,000 miles from its origin. I don't know why I'm obsessed with this train. I guess it's just the fact it's such a long distance train through some of the most awesome scenery in the U.S., the Rocky Mountains and Glacier National Park territory in Montana, to name the best.
