A daring bunch of shots. I see what you are doing, and that is, how far away can you get from represntational and still manage to convey feeling. The fact that the crops cut out most of the horses and yet the viewer is still left with the impression of just having seen the horse romp and play. Well done. More than any of them, I really like the second shot. There is an exhuberance that is related that does not require the whole animal in the shot. Also, the choice of tint color really adds to the result.
The first shot, I feel, is the least of the bunch. I suppose that that is in part my own doing. With the exception of last Septembers trip to Eatons Ranch, I am fairly unfamilliar with horses. The expression looks like one of pain or protest. Maybe it is playful, but to me, it is not. I think that shot would require a knowlege of what your viewer knows if you want to display it.
The third shot, to me, overshoots the mark with regards to "how far away can you get from represntational and still manage to convey feeling." It seems too far away. There is not enough horse there for me to connect with. Also, I don't see the blue tint as flattering the subject or the background. Also, I am annoyed by the wire (?) running horizontally across the frame.
All in all, I admire the interpetation, and to my eye, the second shot comes closest to evocing the feelings you seem to be after.
Well done, but room to grow.

I'm trying to feel it, but at first instance it only aggitates me. But I suppose it does make me try to pull out the feelings and such. It's just my imagination is trying too hard to see the rest of the horse.
