My second outing for the weekend was to visit the Prescott hillclimb course for a round of the British hillclimb championship. I have to admit that after spending Saturday being showered in gravel at the Somerset stages watching cars charge up a hill one by one on tarmac was a little dull. Never mind, there was some decent action at times. The light was very variable as you will see in some of the shots.

#1 Car kicking up a little gravel causing the brooms to come out again and again and again... They do a LOT of sweeping at Prescott

#2 Using a little kerb

#3 Since the Bugatti owners club run Prescott it would be rude not to...

#4 The prettiest car of the day for me, the ever lovely Dino running in the Ferrari Owners Club Hillclimb Championship

#5 I know Simon hates it when I find Healeys to snap so here's one specially for him!

#6 Another Bugatti (wouldn't want to be rude)

#7 A Caterfield or a Westerham or some-such using some kerb

#8 Some serious commitment through the start of the Esses

Great series, Glenn! Love the Healey shot with the other car in the background, any clue what it is?

Nice shots Glen - very crisp. I was all set to go to this but my missus had other ideas:rolleyes: I so wanted to see the Zonda and my neighbour thrash that R8.

What's with you and these Big Healeys? I hope you bring a few with you to Silverstone in a couple of weeks time!

#2 is an absolute cracker Glenn. I like that one a lot.

Simon.

I think the Dino has to be one of my favourite cars of all time and you have captured it well and the colours on the Healey shot really stand out. Looks like you were busy at the weekend.

Cheers

Top-notch my good man :)

Interesting to note the lack of lids in the Healey...

Interesting to note the lack of lids in the Healey...

Well observed... he was giving a marshal a joy-ride up the hill in that photo, not making a competitive run.

Great shots Glenn. I liked shooting hillclimbs when I lived back in the UK. Nothing like that over here. Do they still have the bar on the hill? Nothing like a good pint to set you up for the afternoon.
