Drebel shots

just picked up a 300d. Great camera! A couple of shots here. Nothing too exciting. Feedback welcome.

first pic is 1\125 f5.6 & 400 ISO (probably too high for the conditions, but doesn't look like too much noise? Actually had it on 400 in error :roll: )

second is 1\125 f5.0 @ 400

They're nice and crisp, but to me they're not overly interesting. I might also try and blur out the background of the first one a little more. I try and have something extraordinary or outstanding in my photos where I can. Please take that as constructive comments.
