Thanks for the links Pekka,

I noticed two of the samples used Custom WB, and the third used "click" WB.

It's too early to tell, but it's not a good first impression if Canon weren't confident enough to use AutoWB.

As the pixel-war is coming to a close, I strongly feel that color balance and dynamic range are the two most important factors between cameras of the same class. Noise is an imprtant factor, but I think newer DSLRs are getting closed to being equal in this area, especially ISO400 and below.

I mainly used Custom WB on my d30, and it's one thing that I can live without.
