Had a chance to shoot some freshman baseball this afternoon. I used my new Sigma 120-300 F2.8 lens along with a Sigma 1.4x as well.

Nice...3 & 4 a great. That damn fence sure gets distracting though.

I'm still trying to figure out the positioning for angles like #3 and #4
To get that shot, I set up part of the way toward third base and shoot through the fence. Lately I have been able to do that while on the field in between innings. The umps haven't had any problem with me moving around in between innings. However, it is hard to get a clean shot with no other players or stray balls in the picture.

Yeah this field was more like a youth type field. It was freshman ball so I guess they do not get to play on a nice field lol.
Their was just a backstop type fence so I was able to get closer to the home plate.

Thanks Chris. It has been a long time since I shot baseball lol Very rusty. I am still not sure how to shoot the sport.
