Anybody tried using this strobe before?
I currently thinking about the 383.
And then I saw this pz42, which has higher guide number and has ettl.
Here is a link. . .

what would you be using it for? on-camera? yes, looks like it is compatible w/ Cannon Ettl-II, but if you're planning off-camera, I don't think it can be a wireless ettl slave.

If you're getting it because of the price, then get the Sigma 530 SUPER instead.

Yes it will be on camera. . . and priority is for indoor and I want it as filled in as well. I just wanted to bounce it or diffuse it.
and I always shoot manual (I know this affect when shooting with flash but not too sure about it either).
Been reading this. . all day long and still it confuses me more. . . .http://planetneil.com/tangents/flash-photography-techniques/7-metering-techniques/
(One very very very very super excellent info for me I think. . .)
I am really sick of searching already akh. . . :(
BTW, thanks for the reply.
I rather get things on hands and play with it rather than reading reading and more searching.
So I have just bought myself a sunpack 383. And if canon offers a rebate this spring, I'm gonna get a 580 ex and can use 383 as slave. . .
Sorry for the rambling. I never experience with flash beside the built in flash.
I think now, I seen the real Light. . . :)
