I am trying to post a photo useing Img from my own web page which I use just for this , I have read the FAQ and followed as it says but still it does not show .

Just write the full URL to your image, use the mouse to select it and hit the IMG button above the input box. That will put the phpBB image tags around it like so:

[img]http://example.com/images/pic.jpg[/img]

If your site is on a free host they probably prevent hotlinking though. So if that's the case you are BSODed. :wink:

I have done that but no luck
