After every shot the 300D shows the photo you've just taken. Does anyone know if it's possible to have it show the histogram as well, or do I need to go into image review mode to view that? I think having the histogram is just as important as seeing a preview of the image straight away.

I have the hacked firmware.

menu button, hit right for the 2nd menu screen then pick review, put it to " On (info)"

Actually if you do a search 4 months back or so on this forum I had to ask the same exact question, haha.

lol :)

I see you progressed from the A70 same as me, but what's the 310D - how's it different from the 300D?

Ah, its the Rebel still, alot of people call it the 310 after applying the wasiu (sp) to it to add Fec, MLU and some custom functions.

Is that just the russian fireware hack, or have I missed something?

Thanks Ogrt,

I read the manual and I didn't realize you could do that! I just thought it wasn't possible!

Ahh,so THAT'S why i see the 300D written wrong sometimes :)
It's kinda cool actually-but shouldn't it be called the N model (as canon tend to do when an upgraded version of a camera comes out) ?
