A measly $184.25 order from BH.

Tells you how much money I have left after buying the 1DsMkII.

On the other hand all three things I am buying are for that camera.

- a hand strap (jokingly I ask if anyone wants a neck strap, I have two spare so far)

- an EC-B focusing screen (yeah, I will be able to focus manually with accuracy)

- and a spare battery.

I was going to get a 2gig CF card and a 1gig SD card, but they were out of the ones I really wanted, so after staring and reviewing and checking, I deleted the 2gig Sandisk ultra II I had in my cart. I decided it could wait and I really want a extreme III when they come out - also I really want a 4gig card, but have to wait a couple of months at this point. They just did not have any SD cards I wanted in stock and I really wanted a 2 gig SD card, which basically don't exist yet (that I can buy).

So no new lenses (the 85/1.2 has to wait until Jan paycheck, then whether or not I can afford it I will get for a shoot in mid-Jan)
No new bags, tripods or filters.
No video or audio equipment.

In short a very small order given my last four or five.

Just felt like shraing, feel free to ignore - at least you guys have a chance of understanding.

I'm sitting in the UK thinking that every hour I wait my £ is getting bigger and bigger to the $. :)

My brother is even thinking of flying over solely to buy some equipment as the £ is close to $2 now.

You must have missed when it was $1.99=£1 this past summer.

I think you'll find that was the other way round - the lowest the UK £ has been against that US $ is £1= $1.39 in July 2001.
