I was out snapping around the other day for fun. When I got the photos on the computer, I thought I'd try a new cross-process method in lightroom. I'm totally all about making presets (and actions).

1. Plane (Landing at YYZ)

2. Another...

3. Some hydro wires in one of the last undeveloped fields

Of course, any feedback is more than welcome!

i love it! it looks like old film!

If you make presets with that, you should share them. :)

Thank you all for the kind comments! These were all done in lightroom...so I'll see about exporting the preset. But from what I recall (I'm not on my home computer right now), I adjusted the hues of the greens, yellow, and blues; bumped the contrast, added a vignette, and increased the saturation a little....will confirm

Almost like a lomo effect, just not as much. I like it.

The one with the power lines really pops with that technique. The posts look like they might be just a tad off of vertical, though.

Thank you all for the nice comments!

waterj2: I messed around with horizon straightening tools, and lens distortion correction, and it just doesn't straighten up. I think I may have been slightly off-centre when I took the picture. At least the horizon is level! :)

I think you did great on #1. Looks like the plane is on fire.
Thanks for sharing.
