hmm i recently when to some concerts and stuff, i'll post some pictures soon and while i had TONS and TONS of fun just by shooting it... but i had more fun when i was NOT shooting it...
ofcourse i'm the kind of guy that loves to walk arround with the camera just to pick up chicks... but still i have more fun when i'm with my best girl friends just dancin , having some laughts, and follin arround.
and it's very hard to dance with a lowerpro and camera on your neck...
how do you feel about this ?

its both for me. i have fun in taking the photos as much as just lounging out. but when the intent is to go out and take some photographs for myself i always have fun. everything else is secondary.
if i happen to be out with my friends and i happen to have my camera and they want some photos taken it takes the fun out of it a little bit. i still have fun but my initial intent was to hang out and relax and not do anything that requires a little concentration and movement.
for me its all about what mindset im in. it could be snowing and over a feet of snow on the ground. but if my mind is set on going out and taking photos i WILL enjoy it. that's how my mind is, but that's just me.
by the way, those photos are excellent. i love that 70-200. you have some incredible moments captured.

I'm too old to be able to generate much fun on my own. The act of photographing people having fun allows me to experience their joy. When I get in the zone I feel like I am a part of the action.

I agree, while photography is very fun, sometimes one has even more fun by putting the camera down (or leaving it at home). The best balance is to find time for both situations, those with camera in hand, and then those others without the camera.

Portugese women are stunning, you're 16. Enjoy them in person, you have your whole life to look at them through a lens!
