Anyone have a waterproof P&S camera? I'm looking to take surfing photos from the water, but don't want to risk my DSLR in a bag.

i've got a pentax optio wp...it's an alright camera...better than getting disposables...got it used off of ebay...i think it was around 100 bucks...i've only taken it out surfing once...also brought it to costa rica...but mainly got shots of the group i was with hanging out in the water...still need to use it snorkeling somewhere...

I used a friend's Olympus Stylus 850 while white water rafting. Needless to say, it got very wet with very cold water.

I dive regulary with my Olympus Sp350 and Olympus hosing.. rated to 130 feet however it fuctioned fine at 210 feet.

Look at the Canon A series cameras with the Canon housings. The controls and image quality are far better than the Oly SW range. They are pretty small, easy to use and just do great work in/around the water. The video is pretty nice for what it is, too.

Ok...sorry for the delay. But here's a couple of pics from the camera. I don't really have too many other shots...most have people in it and I don't know how thrilled they'd be to see their pictures making the rounds on the 'net w/o permission ;)
