The St. John River is about 2m over the flood level. No injuries just lots of businesses closed.

Nice series! Post more.

I'm from Saint-Léonard. The bridge over the St. John river to the US is closed because the water is just too high (first time it happens according to my mom).

Good luck to you...

I particularly like #4.

Do you happen to have any that show a wider area? I'm curious as to the context of the river.

Thanks for the comments.

The area is lucky there haven't been any injuries. About 1300 home affected in the lower areas. Luckly for me my house is on higher ground. The water has peaked and is suppost to start dropping over the next few days.

This pic doesn't look out of place until you see the parking meters.

This area is a park in the downtown. About a foot or so of water.

Not that clear but looks like they are walking on the water. It is the median of the roadway.

Between the red lines is all the river you would normally see from here.

These last few aren't my pics they are from a local radio station. Just to see what it is like from other points.

I think the shot of the statue is my favorite. All shots are very nicely done.

I like the shots with the parking meters. Wild.

I'm from Moncton and I'm in Fredericton 2-3 times a year. Its so strange seeing the downtown area like this, knowing that last summer I was eating lunch there, haha! I had been planning to make a trip up tonight but my drive fell through.
My personal favourite is #2 with the water coming over the No Trespassing sign. No one can tell mother nature what to do!
