S70!

Do you have one S70? If yes, how good it is in high ISO?

Well, mostly I use raw converter, without any noise removal and then remove the noise after the conversion. So I would have to say that you would need to use something like Noise Ninja for most of the 400 ISO photos, also for some 200 ISO. It depents on exposure and also what do you do in the raw converter. I often get surprised about low noise of some iso 400 photos and sometimes dissapointed with some 200 or even 100 iso noise levels. I don't do that many 400 iso photos, so i don't mind using some noise removal software afterwards - which does great results. In general, you don't need to wory about the noise with S70.

Ok, thank you for the info...

I also want the S60/S70 as a carry-on camera, when travelling for work.
I like them because of the ability to shoot Raw, so I can keep the same workflow for both my 10D and the S60/70.

Considering your experience, and taking into account the short price difference, I'm almost decide to buy the S70.

Hello all!
I just bought a S70, and I'm very happy, but I new to digital photography so I will give my impressions later! But I have only two weeks with the camera and I'm loving it, has a good size, excellent quality, a lot of functions, great!
