BP511 & 511A Batteries

Doies anyone know if you can mix 511 & 511A batteries in a BG E3 grip? I'm wondering because I have a couple of 511's and now have a 511A which came with the 20D.

Can't think of any reason why not. I mix 'em in my BG-E2 on the 20D if that's the way it comes up.
