Lightroom Situation ...

Okay guys ... this might/might not make sense so bare with me!

so, I shot a prom a couple of weeks back. I have edited all the pics etc in Lightroom (LOVE this program) and printed contact sheets off for order to be taken from of the contact sheets with number underneath the pic.

I then exported these pics with the correct numbers as the contact sheets. however I've been given a list of all the prints (50 so far) but the numbers in ligtroom are still the original RAW files (which I expected). How would you guys print now? I don't have the cotact sheets as the organiser is still taking orders ... would you re-import the exported pics with the right numbers of what ..?

So you have exported files with the new numbers?

Just import those too then.

Personally I'd rename at the outset in future, to prevent problems like this.

yeah ... but then i'm gunna have a load of different files ...

I always do a 'final rename' before i export, that renames all the files from 0000-9999 with custom text etc.. that way the files in lightroom match the exported jpegs.
