They're all great shots and I particularly like the one of Crutchlow with the front wheel off the deck.

They're all great shots and I particularly like the one of Leon Haslam with the front wheel off the deck.

Wonder why Crutchlow is on last years bike.

Which is the Haslam wheel up pic? I can only see Crutchlow and Ashley with the wheel up on my monitor

Super shots Ant. I agree bike racing is exciting. Only motocross comes near.

Very high quality shots Big Ant, thanks for sharing. Fingers crossed it stays dry today at Oulton for some good racing.

Thanks for the comments everyone, there much appreciated:D

I took them with my Sigma 120-300 2.8, I really must swap lenses some time;)

Cracking shots ant, you don't need to changes lenses ;)
I can say race day was wet/dry and I can only hope my shots are as good as yours.

Sykes and Harris should at least have the decency to crash out together in future, like Thruxton. Cartwheeling Suzuki and Yamaha as target is so much more visual.

Melandri was in evidence today. Were Ducati showing Marco Melandri what he will be doing next year if his performance on the MotoGP bike does not improve?

Maybe Ducati was showing Melandri? May have worked with his placing at Shanghai! He still lives in this country as far as I am aware, so his travelling expenses would be cut down.
Sykes seems to have a liking for Haslam rather than Harris. Harris can do it all by himself it seems once again.
Was anyone off the forum at the chicane wearing what looked like blue leathers and a big Canon lens?

For the full on pan shot I think I was shooting at 1/200-1/250 I think but when the bikes are passing at 160-170mph it works quite well

For the three quarter shots I was at 1/320

Cheers
