I looked at CS3 books today in the book store and there were way too many for me to make a good decision on which to get. So I thought I would check here first to see what people thought was a good book. I know the very basics about Photoshop, like resizing and cropping, nothing else. What would be a good tutorial book? I'm not big on using web tutorials. TIA

Scott Kelby is always a favourite. I enjoyed his CS3 for Photographers book.

Scott Kelby has simple, easy to read beginner books.

You may also want to join NAPP as they have wonderful info.

TIm - thanks for the link. I actually looked for it, since I remember reading through the book recommendation a while back, but couldn't find it.

I'm currently reading Adobe Photoshop CS3 for Photographer's by Martin Evening. I'm not finished it yet, but it's certainly proved resourceful. Scott Kelby's CS books are always highly recommended as well.
