I've had my DSLR for a couple of months and I'm drawn to sunsets. Would like to learn to shoot better sunsets. Advice would be appreciated, especially on improving composition and pp tips. This is a handheld shot with my 55-250 IS lens. I haven't figured out how to save exif data yet. It was shot M F5.0 1/250 ISO 200.

You're going to need something wider....

I agree that you'll mneed something wider in a general sense, especially for the future and other situations, but I love this shot 'as is'. Even the treet being cut-off on the left doesn't bother me. The focus is primarily on the tree with the colors adding to it without being overwhelming. Then again, I'm a sucker for a good silhouette in a sunset.

I believe something wider would probably be good in it's own right, just saying that I like this one, too.
