Found myself with 3 hous spare whilst my wife blew away a 3rd world countrie's GDP in clothes shops in London yesterdsay...and took my 400d with 24-70 2.8 L and 70-200 F4 L along for the ride..

Wow great pics! I especially love the last one with the "One nation under CCTV" an in the background you see the tower with TONS of microwave antennas.

Were these handheld? Also, which lense, 24-70mm, 28-135mm, or kit?

Great shots, yeah the British Museum is really good. When I went there they had a special Egyptian exhibition on, such a huge collection of amazing relics there.

Love all the shots.

thanks for all your kind word.the ony lenses I used were the 24-70 f2.8 and the 70-200 mm F4 L (non-IS) on a crop sensor 400d, using evaluative metering.

Also, they were all hand held, adding a tripod would have given me a hernia with the combined weight of the lenses and camera!
