Recharging my SD790 in the EU

I just got my new camera (SD 790IS) and there's no information about recharging the battery in anyplace other than the US. I'm worried about frying the battery if I have the usual adapter to fit the plugs with the 220 current in Europe.

Any thoughts about this?

Take a look at the charger. Every Canon charger I've ever seen is rated for 100-240V AC at 50-60 Hz. I'd be amazed if yours is any different. If it's what I expect, all you'll need is the appropriate adapter.
