Hello there!

Well, i've always had the photography bug but i haven't had the money to get one (but some damn day i will!). I borrowed a friend's 40D w/28-135mm for the third time and i tryied to do my best as the unofficial shooter of my cousin's wedding.

First picture was [obviously] heavily edited. I modified the levels and contrast a bit, and then i selected the background manually to apply some blur because getting a good out of focus background was rather difficult with the lens i was stuck with.

At the end of the day, i found shooting like this quite fun and entertaining.

C&C is very welcome.

Groom and bride dancing, and the mariachi that is a must in every good mexican wedding.

If these are from your first time shooting wedding photos, then you did a great job in my opinion. I like the second one the best. His face is shadowed by the hat, but I don't know how you could get around that, given that the brides exposure looks right on.

Good job! I like the sincerely happy look on the bride's face in #3

I really like #2 - just give a little pp light to the groom and its perfect!

Great pictures! What a beautiful bride :) we are still trying to decide whether or not to have a mariachi at our wedding.

Nice shots. Second one could have had a little directed fill flash on the groom, but it's not way under exposed so you should be able to fix it in PP.
