Calling all 400D owners...

Hi everyone,
So I just reformatted my pc, and while reloading all of my softwares, to my dismay, I discovered that my EOS disk was cracked in half. I was able to find the EOS software that enables you to download the photos to the pc, but I only found updates and not full installs of the rest of the stuff ie photostich etc.... The reason I am making this thread was to see if anyone out there had a copy of the disc that they would ship to me if I paid shipping?? It woud really help out! I will post photos of my cracked disc in case there is any kind of doubt out there! I think it was version 13.1 (I am at work so I'm not too sure).
Once again, if anyone could help, I would really appreciate it!

I could upload an ISO onto my server but im not too sure on how it would breach Canon's copywright law's.

i dont beleive the full copy is available for download.

You know, I'm not too sure myself, but if it is anything like the music industry, I think it is ok as long as we both own the cd. As for a piture of my sad cd, I am uploading now!

1) Copy the below text in italics, and create a new file on your desktop, call it canon.reg, and paste what you copied into it. Then run it. (double click)

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Canon\DPP]
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Canon\ZoomBrowser EX]
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Canon\PhotoStitch]



2) Download the latest software from the Canon, they are not updates, they are full installs.
3) Run the installation of that software.

This should give you access to the DPP software, latest version of utilities, etc!

Thanks it worked! Only problem is, there was no string for the photostich program, and it wont let me download it :-/. Do you happen yo have that one too?

Fixed above, just add a new line and add PhotoStitch.

On my computer PhotoStitch is registered at [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Canon\PhotoStitch Launcher]

Maybe this will help?

I show that as well, I have both PhotoStitch and PhotoStitch Launcher. Can't hurt to add both lines.
