Holly blue butterfly- focus stacked and missing the end of an antenna.

must be difficult at times when the subject is hairy like that! :cool:

When using CombineZ (ie not like this) do you stack full sized jpegs or do you resize them first.

Stacking an angle like that looks almost impossible to me, even allowing for the fact that holly blues are the most cooperative of insects. Super picture, and impressive technique.

eccles- was slightly lucky with this shot- I was shooting through some other leaves that slightly hid the camera but also gave this as the only angle I could get and still get some flash through :)
Racketman - I always stack right after raw conversion.
