Hello all
After lurking here for some time, I've finally come up with something to ask. I've noticed lately that my 10D's exposure meter display shifts to '+.05' after a bit of shooting, for seemingly no apparent reason. Strangely enough, when I read the info from the RAW files in DPP, it happily shows no shift. Fortunately the shots are turning out perfectly exposed. Am I missing something here? I've gone over the manual many times, and can't seem to find anything that explains the situation.
Thanx in advance
Joe

Find what exposure mode your camera is in when it shows the shift, and then find what exposure mode it is in when there is no shift. I would guess that you are in a creative mode when exposure compensation is working, and in a basic mode when it is not working. That is in the manual.

I shoot just about everything in aperture priority -occasionally switching to full manual mode, so that can't be it. But thanks for trying Bob.
