Is the G9 the top of the line P&S for Canon??

I have a G5 and I'm thinking of getting something newer like the G9....

If you are going to take underwater pics then the g5 is better because of itīs stronger flash iīve heard

I had three G5s, and every time I used them underwater, they broke?!

No underwater..... Just wanted to get a few more pixels and options compared to my G5...

G9 is an excellent P&S. As for underwater all P&S flashes are poor.

You should have used an underwater housing ;-)

G5 shoots in RAW.... Surely thats not all the extras you get??

I haven't really read anything on the G9....... I actually just thought about buying one today.

Underwater housing? They don't fit around my pocket wizards. Which, oddly broke too.........
