Well, I went back to the water to re-shoot the water droplets.... they seem to be getting better and better...
What do you think? Have I improved?
Here's the old thread for referance:http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=49577&highlight=water+droplets

That's an amazing picture. You captured the water droplette in the center in the perfect position. What setup did you use to capture this?

Great stuff mate, looks very nice, the colours are great, definitely getting better there, can you post some exif info? or is it the same as the others in your original thread?
Keep it up :)

Sorry it took me so long to answer back to y'all on this.....
I had to leave for a while and when I came back the forum was down for the rest of the week....
The EXIF data is the same as the other photos, I just used trial and error in shooting the droplets... No fancy timers or anything... haha
I used the flash that is built into the camera...
Any other questions? :)

The link to the old thread doesn't work any more. What lens were you using, and could you share the exit data?

I wasn't using a canon digital because I don't exactly have one... haha
I use canon film cameras and I use a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ20 for my digital(it's all I can afford at the moment...)
I believe the Exif data was...
1/2000 of a second
and 8.0 for the f-stop
It is definately fun taking these pictures... although it is pretty hard..

here's a set of photos i did many years ago using a setup that was a bit more "scientific".
http://nobot.2y.net/pictures/milkdrop/
i built a sound trigger for the flash, and mic'd the dish that milk was dripping into. put the camera on bulb, open the shutter, drop 1 drop, flash fires when the drop strikes the plate, close the shutter, move the microphones to get a different part of the drop sequence, repeat. sound is a lot slower than light ;-)

Very nice pic.
Its really hard to get a good picture.
May I suggest you try milk instead of water.
The drops will then look like ivory balls.

Littleman,
If you were using 1/2000 and f8 how did you syncronise your flash? I'd love to catch a shot like that. As well as my D20 I also have an EOS1N with a 540EZ to experiment with.
