Hey guys, I just found this site on google and thought I'd check it out. These forums look pretty active, that's cool. :)
I would be interested in seeing peoples websites dedicated to showing off their photography. I'll start us off with mine.

When you go, please sign the guest book so I can see where your from. :)

You guys are kind of paranoid. I did the same thing on FM a few days ago, here's the link:

If you read through that, I've been commenting on people's sites. Yes, I would love to get comments on mine as well, but that is not my main intention. I'm redoing part of my site, and I would love to get some ideas from you guys.
If you guys don't like guestbooks, don't sign it. I really enjoy seeing where people are from and what they thought of the site, but if you'd rather not it's no big deal.
I really think you guys have me wrong on this one.

Here is a critical suggestion.... too much flash. I like the pictures on the brick wall but ditch the rest of it.
If you are going to have an entirely flash designed website make sure you do an extremely good job of it.

I agree, I'm not a big fan of most all-flash websites, and sorry to say I can't say this is any exception. In the case of this one, I'm immediately thrown off by how tiny the whole thing is on my monitor. I run at 1600x1200 resolution and there's a TINY little area on-screen for me to view the site, with the rest of it being dead space. Setting it up in percentages rather than finite numbers would be a plus.
Also, WAY too many new windows being opened there. I like to stay all in one browser window while surfing the 'net, and this site opens up a new window for a lot of things I click on. Load times for each page are slow also because of the way some pictures fade into view.
Not to be all negative, but a few things I think need working on. Other than those, I like the idea behind it and how you've got it split up and sectioned.... a little dark, though for my tastes.

Thanks guys. The disjointed feel is what we're trying to fix, also probably toning do the flash. Anyway, I appreciate the feeback.
Much to the contrary of the first two posters thought, I would actually like to see some other people's sites. :)

...also featured prominently on the front page of this forum.
It is the "Digital Photography Database" :)
