I have PSCS and I am trying to modify existing shots. I want to end up with a line drawing on transparent background, without jaggies. I already have a good workflow to simulate watercolor painting, but I want to add the "outlines" on top of that.
I have tried find edges, but there are too many colors. I want black lines. Anything else I tried or thought of led to substandard results.
Any help would be appreciated.

You can desaturate your line drawings to remove the colors.

OK, but what is the workflow to get the "Line Drawing" from a shot in the first place. Also, if I desaturate it, how does that let the Painting layer below show through?

I'd try... Dupe Layer... Desaturate top layer... Find Edges.... Image...Adjust...Threshold. Then try one of the blending modes on the top layer, like Multiply or Darken, maybe. And play with Opacity, too.
Does that help? When I think "Line Drawing" I think about an artist using a pencil to "re-draw" a photo. Is this what you're after?
