Hi everybody!

I have been registered here for some time now and have been inspired by some of your posted pictures and now I think it's time for me to actually contribute :-).

Follow these two links and you will find a selection of photos from two of my most recent wedding portrait sessions, 19 April and 3 May. Both weddings took place in Stockholm, Sweden.I look forward to any comments!

I am not sure if I like two photos in one combos though.. :) RIngs on heart shot is very pretty. How was that done?

Otherwise lovely!

The heart is made of glass with a hole which could support and keep the rings in place without falling off. I found the heart in a home decorating store and I bought it for this purpose. On this picture the heart is placed on a paving stone but if you put it on a diffent material the photo will of course get a different character.

Beautiful set of pictures.
The bokeh in all of them is fantastic, it is isolating perfectly the bride and the groom.
What lenses do you use?
Did you use any filters during the photoshoot?
Most of these scenes are outdoors and look kind of bright so I assume you didn't use flash, am i correct?

Sorry for all the questions but i am a newbie and i am trying to learn from your nice work.

I use Canon 5D and my two favourite lenses for portraits are 50mm 1,4 and 135L 2,0. I think all of these photos were taken with those lenses apart from the "heart/rings picture" for which I used 100mm 2,8 macro and the "outside the church picture" for which I used 16-35mmL 2,8. I didn't use any filters nor flash (I am a terrible flash photographer:oops:!).

By the way, beautiful city, I had the opportunity to visit it for 1 day during a business trip, one of the most beautiful cities I have visited.
I like the houses on the small islands around Stockholm, is that normal or only rich people can afford those?

Well, that of course depends on what I want to achieve. I am a fan of really short depth of field and I often use aperture 2,0-4,0 but again, not always. It would be easier if you asked about a specific photo but as you're not, my answer is probably quite useless :).

Oh, you've been here :D!

I am not sure I understand exactly what houses you refer to, but I think the most expensive private houses actually is located outside the city center. Stockholm is however practically built on different islands so yes, most houses are for families etc. (of course some areas are more expensive than others (Djursholm, Stocksund, some parts of Lidingö) but compared to many other big cities/countries I believe the economic class distinctions are quite limited in Sweden).

There are of course some villas located in the city (for instance at Djurgården) but those are not for common people like you and me (the island Djurgården is royal...ehm... are you ;)?)
