I have been privy to one.
No words can describe.

One of my all-time favorite Las Vegas experiences.
I of course saw mine at the teeny briar street theatre here in chicago, i think they came from NY though didnt they?
I'm pretty sure they can only be seen in NYC, Chicago, Vagas, and LA.
If you ever get a chance...go...very artistic, very cool musically...just quiet a cool show.

Alas, they have the *worst* commercials I have ever heard. I always have to change the station when one comes on.

Are you talking about their Intel commercials?

I live in Vegas most of the time and never saw them. I was told by everyone the show is unreal. I saw parts of it here and there too. Def worth the money.

No, their radio commercials here in Boston. Here's one - well, at least as close as I can get...
"In a frim jab jammawop world,
Some gouda pop jamma frap,
There's a werg koota lamin world,
Skidlly jugga the googa poo."
And that goes on for a full minute. The other two commercials are actually more obnoxious.

I've seen thier show here in Chicago twice loving it both times, but I have to agree that with you on those radio commercials. They're terrible.
I did however like the TV spots they were doing for Intel a while back.

I have friends that love the show. One went 3 times in the space of 2 weeks.
But with commercials like that, I just can't even think about it. Would you use deodorant if the commercials said it smelled like dog poo?
And dog poo would be a compliment to the BMG commercials.

Well, since you put it like that.......
Actually, I very much enjoyed their live show. The musice is heavily synthesized and percussive. That's right up my alley. The theatrics are pretty cool, too.

They are from Boston...
They played for years solely at the Charles St. Playhouse before they finally put a tour together.. (now there is at least three troupes... maybe four The Charles St. troupe, the Vegas act, and at least one on tour, maybe two)

They also have had a resident group at the Briar Street Theater in Chicago for years.

I must admit that I know nothing about the Blue Man Group. Perhaps they're the best entertainment ever, but I absolutely HATE those Intel commercials ... some of the stupidist advertisements I've ever seen. Maybe if I had seen them first and understood what they were about ...

When I was 6 my parents brought me to thier show in NYC. Nine years later I still remember it in detail.
