I did a trash the dress shoot in April in Brighton with two brides which was so much fun.

What do you guys think of these

Are these trash dress? Maybe the last one, except we can't see the dress in the water.
I think the JPEG compression on these pics are doing them justice.

Quite like 1 and 2. They look quiet flat. 1 would have been a great background for a bride portrait. Not sure why you kept the table in shot?

They didnt want to completely ruin their dresses. Lets just say then they wanted a photo shoot in their wedding dresses

Yeah they don't look too trashed to me. A friend of my Brother-in-law did a trash the dress shoot once. They found this cool old pond covered in pond scum, and a little boat dock. They capture the bride running full force off the dock, jumping into the air, and doing a cannonball into this mucky pond... Pictures turned out great. It also turned out that the pond was only about 2 feet deep with about 5 ft of mud and silt... lol.

Definitely looks more like a bridal shoot than a trash the dress. Some of them look a little oof.

I say trash the dress is what ever the brides want it to be. Lol if we all lead by example our sessions might include lighting the dress on fire. I really like number one, but i am a total sucker for colourful patterns. The last three look dark. You had image editing on so I thought I would see if we could give number one a little more punch. (I hope you don't mind) If you hate it, I will remove it. I haven't tested out this monitor though so if it looks wrong I apologize.

I consider TTD actually getting the dress wet, dirty, etc.

These are more like an unconventional/urban bridal shoot.

I do like the background of the first one.

I think this is part of the problem with TTD. It has turned into a fad of calling your session a TTD session to say that you do these.

Since you have asked for C/C...I really don't think that I would use any of these for a print/website/whatever.
1. This is by far the best shot of the group, but I would either crop out the little side bar on the right, or position her a little bit farther away next time.
2. I am really not getting what it is she is doing here. I also am not a fan of armpit shots.
3. Not a flattering pose. I guess my first thought is that this just makes me wonder what playing pinball in a dress is going for here. Perhaps you could shoot above her to include the games/lights, but I am really not feeling the makeup of this image.
4. Her pose is again not the best imo. She is leaning back and is half in light and half in shadow. She is struggling with her veil. This is the one that actually might be considered TTD, but if you are going to use the beach/waves then you migt want to show a full length pose.
Hope this helps.

how you consider this trash the dress is truly beyond me.
