I just discovered the forum has returned, and realized how much I had missed it the past week. We probably all take the forum for granted, but I want to thank Pekka and any others who participate in running it. Your efforts are truly appreciated.

Its good that this forum is back. I hope the Administrator makes the BROWN color theme for this new software. It was really cool to the eyes and was very familiar.
Also the old Icons were more COOL.

Yes I will have couple of themes you can choose, later. Right now I'm a but tired after staying up til 4am every night for installing and securing the server (I have a day job, too :) )...

I sort of like this color sceme - some changes are needed but generally it is quite nice. http://photography-on-the.net/forum/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif

Let me echo everyone else in being glad you made it back, Pekka. Hopefully you will find this software a bit more secure. We use it over on Zuga.net and other than a few incidences, haven't had too many problems in the last couple of years.

Don't forget to double check your profile (go to UserCP) and make the changes if necessary in the different settings. Mine was not mine and said I lived in MD rather than OR. BIG difference. http://photography-on-the.net/forum/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif

Have Fun, I did not notice earlier, but those things are possible after database conversion. Everyone should go into their User CP and correct mistakes.

Yes, my signature and profile had been changed also. That's OK, it is probably some new fangled security trick. Also, the Time Zone feature could not be selected correctly.

I underestimated how much I look for information here and how much it becomes part of my normal day. Sooo glad it's back. Pekka, next time take up a collection from the members to get the work done. It'd certainly be cheaper for me! I accidentally ordered a 24-70 L and a 580EX while trembling with withdrawal. That's not to mention the hard time I had believing some of the contributions I was seeing at another forum. Glad to be back with people who know what's going on!
