I think the picture of the poll is OOF and the bike in the background spoils it :D:D:D:D:D:D

the pole isn't OOF. it's pretty apparent that the shooter shot at a slow shutter speed to give the feeling of the fast speed the fence was traveling.

That's perfect. I have a whole bunch I could add to this thread! Mine contain a good selection of;

1. Peoples heads
2. People
3. Trackside cones
4. Gates
5. Fences
6. Parked cars
7. Lens Cleaning rags (don't ask)
8. Birds
9. Marshalls
10. Anything else that I could possibly frame in the middle of my shot to ruin and otherwise useful frame.

Maybe we should have a "Shot Obstructions" thread?

Okay, now I'm not really all that up to speed on most sports, but I don't think there are "pole positions" in fencing.

but I don't think there are "pole positions" in fencing. Polish people don't fence?

I have had this happen. Most of the poles i stand by attack my lens though. It only takes one good "whack" to the white glass and i move to a place with friendlier poles. Normaly i find the short ones the nicest to hang out with. But it WAS going to be a great shot.

Hi Rob,

Nice one - LOL funny how these fences & poles just creep up on you from no where. Gave me a good laugh though.

Btw how is firmware 123 working out for you?

Regards
