I got my magic arm yesterday so i played around with it today, I have to say its pretty hard getting a sharp shot but still have decent background motion blur.. have any of you had much success with this? Would using a flash help? Any tips would be greatly appreciated, 98% of my shots were crap.

Well first of all, you have mounted it to the part of the bike that is completely independent from the rest of the frame. Second of all, you aren't using anything to stabilize the front wheel, only your arms, which I'm sure you'll agree aren't very accurate. Third, those sharp pictures are taken going very slowly on smooth surfaces.
In short, mount it elsewhere and go slower on a smooth surface. Cool shot though.

^^^^^^^ summed it up perfect. The possibilities with the magic arm are limitless, so continue to play around with it.

unfortunately pavement isn't as smooth as i thought :) going slow on the bike is also quite tough, guess it would be easier with a car or skateboard or something
