Hello,
A friend is shooting my wedding and he is more into journalism but has an artistic eye so the few weddings he has done before have come out well. I am just looking for some inspiration for him from the top current wedding photographers. I would appreciate if anyone can provide links to wedding photographers who are considered to be of the best so that I can give some examples to my friend. Any inputs will be much appreciated.

Go to Aleksandras Babicius' website. He is not American but has some of the best wedding pictures that I have seen. Very, very impressive work!

Shay Stephens has done some of the most awe inspiring weddings I've seen. He's my hero. He also frequents the smugmug forums and I've talked with him on there before.

not an "official" top US wedding photographer, but this guy's work is definitely some of the most inspiring wedding shots I've had the privilege to view

I really like this setup. The idea of surprise engagement photo's is great, I haven't seen that offered before.
I think the pricing method works as well, the CD with permission given to run off prints. I know there is resistance to allowing that but with most people seeming to expect it these days I think pricing it into the cost of the shoot is a good way to make both sides happy.

Phil Farber is one of my favorites. Very high end. I worked for him for a couple of years in the late 80s early 90s.
