Well the first one and the one of the bride and groom dancing are a little too PP for my taste. Most men don't like looking like dolls LOL! but I say great pictures.

Ok, I really like all of the shots for the most part, although I have some questions/observations!

1. Love the picture, but what is that white spot at the top of his head?
2. For some reason this doesn't look nearly as sharp as the rest of your pictures.
3. Great shot, but were the brides maids really blusing that much!! :)
4. My favorite of the bunch. Well done!
5. I agree with lelasmama05, too much PP
6. Nice shot, pity the veil has that fold right in front of her face.
7. I like this shot too! it's fun, playful and shot well!

Overall, well done! I'm sure the couple will love the shots!

Compositions and captures are good. I love the colors in #6 (BTW, there are 7 pics if I counted correctly). #4 is great too. Maybe you can squeeze out a little more detail in the dress?

I agree on the PP, though. The groom looks too smooth/fake in #1 and #5. Also, on #3, the desaturation is a little off. Might be too much red or not enough orange? The skin tones are not evenly faded.

i like them all.. except the skin softening is way too much.. i dont like it when men have that done.. i think it takes way from the fact that they are men. but i love the colors, and the feeling, the black and white you have done.. just the skin thing i dont like .

Ok is it me or does that guy look like pee wee herman? Good shots, but he looks like he's plastic. Too much red in pic # 3 the girls look like they have sunburns on arms and hands and faces. I actually like the second the best because it looks the most natural.
Also the second to last picture is good if you turn down the saturation a bit. In the last pic, it looks like they are throwing the chandelier from the scarf they are holding. I had to do a double take to make sure they weren't throwing confetti. LOL. Good job though. =).

Great images, but definitely lighten the opacity- of the blur or filter or action you used in PP for the groom, it is a bit too strong, same with the bridesmaids, the desaturation is nice, but a little more subtleness will make it perfect! Nice job overall! Love the bride in her veil from hat angle, and a great one of the couple in the chairs!

I love, love , love that last image! I love fun receptions like that! Number one made my jaw drop when I saw his skin :) but I really like the "mocha like colour that you used in that shot.

The one of the bride in the green dress would look a little more realistic if your clouds were white. They seem almost blue.

I really like your compositions as well!

Go back into Lr and re-edit as you have very nice images that you have let down.

There are all very nice, very vibrant colours, but I think you might have used too much softening on the skin tone in 1 & 5.

Also in #3 the bridesmaids look like zombies marching to get their brain stew. The blush look is just way too heavy. It's a good shot otherwise. And I agree about the PP on him especially... very feminine looking.

Otherwise the shots are good, though. I love the last one.

The last shot is the best for me. PP on the groom is way too much for my taste, in the dance shot both there hands have blended together.
My advice would be to use some of the blur/smoothing on the background of 6 and get the bride to standout a little more.

It looks like the softening is a rresult of noise reduction. Sometimes that adds to it by leaving the noise there, so dont worry about fixing it so much :)

thanks guys, i got all this new retouching software and started getting into it and after doing these realized not ALL shots need it, and know i went overboard with retouch. ill get onto a new edit, these are portfolio shots so i've got time to get them right. thanks for the good input everyone. much appreciated!

I agree. The overly softened pictures of the groom are not very flattering. That being said;

I LOVE #6!!!!!!!!!

That is a great picture! As a second shooter, I assume your not selling pictures. I don't know. If you are, #6 should be a money maker.
