You're all probably sick of astonishing sunsets, but here's one more. I walked out of a midterm exam and just had to rush down and capture the setting sun. It seems like the reflective water really makes the scene special. Let me know what you think.

I know how you feel. Every night there's been great sunsets this summer. I want to shoot them all.
As far as your photo goes, great colour. Nice photo.

Hey BigDave,

I hope your grades didn't suffer too badly, but dang! this shot was worth it. :)

Normally I'd find the black land line in the middle too divisive, but I think this works. Nice job!

BIG DAVE

Its a beauty. And -- thanks to the G2 -- the LCD preview lets you know that you are coming home with a usable shot.

As discussed in your city-sunscape with the street lights, the challenge now if you are a nature sort of guy, is to find a great urban-free setting. This is close.

What I mean by that is to say that -- independent of more nature -- there is always the possibility of including a fishing boat, or a kid at the pier, etc. Look as I see it , if it was easy, we'd all have traded in the cameras for parabolic antennas, mikes, and audio-shots of bird songs! Well OK, some of us might have !!
