I assume you have come from using a Canon film camera - which is why you specified the 85mm lens.
Well, in that case, you probably want a full frame digital to match (or the 85mm lens becomes 85 x 1.6 = 136mm). So, the 1ds mk II would do nicely. Plus it has a 16mp sensor so you can blow it up to a nice size.
Any other thoughts ?

I believe the 1DSmk2 will be the best for the job but make no mistake, the 1Dmk2 is a great camera as well, I have used it often for events/modeling work with great results. The resolution and general quality of image is good enough to make prints at least as large as you require.
I also like having a second camera for high pressure events, I normally fit the second camera with a different lens, often a wider lens for group shots plus you have the peace of mind that you can switch quickly if you have a problem. Something like the 20D will do great as a backup and I know serveral professional wedding photographers who use the 20D as primary and backup.
Buy the best you can afford and then forget about new models and take photos
