Ok, so here goes... I'm getting married in July and my fiance asked if there is any photography stuff I'd like as a wedding present. Her budget is up to $1000. Take a look at my gear and suggest what I should get.

You will all have questions like: what do you like to shoot? blah, blah, blah...

Lets have some fun and throw out some ideas. All the gear heads here will have good ideas. I'll let you know if anything strikes my photog bone.

The only thing that I've thought of on my own but I don't know if I want to go that route are the following:

1. Sell my 70-200 f/4 and upgrade to the 70-200 f/2.8 (non-IS)
2. Add the Bigma to my kit.
3. ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?

Let the game begin.

You'd probably get more response if you said what you like to shoot vs. waiting for someone to ask...

That is just it... I haven't figured that out yet. I've done some event photography but that is more to support my habbit than anything else.

I have shot several baseball games (Redsox) but that is getting kind of boring.

I really like night shooting. Would like to maybe try some landscape shots. My fiance likes macro shots (bugs, etc.) but I don't know if it is really my thing.

I might decide to go for some starter studio lights setup.

To be honest I still haven't figured out what I like to shoot. I've tried a bunch of different things but haven't nailed down my "forte"

If you like night shooting, well the only "low light" lens you have is the nifty, which I didn't care or and sold myself. So maybe a 50 f/1.4 or some other prime.

I'd love to have the 24-105 f/4L myself. :D
