I used to take pictures all the time, but now hardly ever. Took pictures of my brother's wedding. Here is a few of what I think are the best.

My only problems with them, are they look nice and bright and have nice tones on my laptop in Adobe Lightroom, but seem dark to me after being exported to jpg.

I have the same problem with Lightroom, just check what colour range you are using in Lightroom and in your camera setting.

They captures are nice but yea i agree they do seem a little off with the lighting. but my monitor is always a little dark.

Do you have any pointers for a first time wedding photographer?

I do alot of searching online.. looking at pictures from various other photographers. Gives you alot of ideas on how you would like to set up shots. I look at alot of the pics posted here and in flickr. I find that it really helps to open up your imagination.

the colour almost makes them look like Adobe RGB?

I did go into Photoshop after they were exported to sharpen them up a little more and clone out a few dirty spots in the dress. Is this something I should do before exporting them thru Lightroom?

Which is the reason I quit using Lightroom..images needed too much tweaking in photoshop so I thought why not use Bridge and do everything in photoshop..you just SAVE AS instead of exporting..very much easier.

I like them. If you think they are a bit dark and you use Lightroom I've learned to trust my histogram and not my monitor. Exposure I think is most important. I find that if I move the gray to just touch the right limit (you can see the box when you hold your cursor the exposure slider). They come out good.
