I'm looking for better quality photos, better than shutterfly to get printed of some of my shots. Can anyone recommend a place online I can upload to and get them printed?
Thanks
Ashley

Kodak Gallery online, If you don't mind waiting. Walgreens will let you upload them....AND pick them up in about an hour. Am i the only one who like Kodak paper? It's getting harder to come by. Walgreens get's my business but i hate the no name paper they use.

Adorama. Its a pro lab. it has very reasonable prices. you can order a ton of stuff, and its 6.95 shipping. I have been extremely happy with them for prints that matter.

My wife and I currently go through Bay Photo customer service is pretty nice, prices aren't too bad and the prints that we've gotten so far looked great.

I've used MPIX, and was happy with the results. Photo and shipping prices are reasonable, and turn around was quick.

Nope. I like the kodak paper too. MPIX uses a type of kodak paper for their prints, and I really like the results from my Canon Pixma 9000 on the high quality (Ultra premium?) kodak paper.

Mpix users:
1. How many of you have used the automatic color correction, and were you happy with the results?
2. What makes the Kodak Professional Portra Endura paper better than, say, the paper used at Walgreens or WalMart?
Thanks in advance.

I would vote for Mpix also. Depending on what you are having printed, you might want to try their Metallic paper. It looks great on landscapes or photos with vibrant colors.

I have a lab, Burrell Colour Imaging, for prints that I sell for weddings, seniors and portraits. But I actually get my some of my personal pics that are just going on the wall and I'm not fussy about from Adorama. I actually just picked up prints today from there and am extremely happy with how they turned out. Extremely happy. Plus they have a special going on this month for 11x14 prints starting at $2.89 and a dollar more for metallic prints. I had 11x14's done for the mothers and grandmothers for Mother's Day, and I'm actually extending this to my customers for the month. Great business to extend savings to your customers, especially during these times, and you look great in the process. I'm not really looking at making a big profit. I just want my clients to feel good about a good service.
Either way, Adorama is Super!

I can answer you first question. Yes I have used their color correction and was very pleased with it.
I don't know the differences with the papers.
I did try their metalic paper with some train and landscape pictures. They came out incredable. I wil use them again in the future.

Oh, and I have used the color correction on some baseball pictures that I wasn't really happy with. They came back much better then sent. I haven't had a complaint yet.

Quick question..........so when you send pictures to these sites, how do you know if the colors/lighting match what you see on the monitor? Do you just place an order and find out?

I calibrate my monitor and use soft proofing with their supplied profiles. Colors come out fine.
