I just love how radial engines do this at startup (hopefully no other time)! This is a fairly common aircraft at these shows and they were charging $400 for a short joy ride!

Yup. We just call 'em Trojans. I got to climb up and have a good look. They're built like a brick ****house. Really tough!

Actually a North American T-28D-5 Trojan, the T-6 was the Texan.

Actually a North American T-28D-5 Trojan, the T-6 was the Texan. It could be either. There were two Trojans and two Texans operating that day. I'm not sure which one this is. It's Radio ID is VH TRO (could that be a hint :-D)

It is definitely a T-28 Trojan. Check out the differences, the easy one being the canopy.
