I was wondering if someone can help me on how these is done.

Not sure about the second one but I think they are both done with templates. The first one looks like a double exposure but I would venture to guess that the faint image is added with an opacity adjustment in PS.

Different ways of generating this type of image.
It tends to be done in PhotoShop or an equivalent (Pain Shop Pro, etc). Different images and effects are put on several layers and the interaction is controlled by changing blending modes and opacity. The main figure is isolated using masks. The frame is another layer on top.
What can often be forgotten is that while each image/layer may look good on its own the final image is the composite and each part must work well with all the other bits including the frame. The two heads work really well together, but the extra knee and hands...
Can be great fun building them.
