2 mins before i was going to go shoot long exposures with my friend i found an SB22 in the closet.

here are my first few pictures with flash, EVER. so dont be too harsh lol.

these have a way different look than all my other work.

this isn't flash, but the lens distortion is hysterical.. he's like >6ft in real life.

Its a Nikon Flash.

on camera... it said that it would not destroy my hotshoe, so i gave it a shot. bounced off the ceiling.

Not bad, but I think you might have made better use of the center line. bounced off the ceiling. Good idea.

apparently lol. according to this site i found, it won't destroy my hotshoe (<6v) so i should be ok using it. it's full manual though.

Oh ok, so you can use a Nikon flash on a Canon?? I've been using 30 year old Vivitar 283s on both.
